Canon Tom Gordon is a missionary priest of the Orthodox Anglican Church (OAC). He is Rector of St. Philip's, and is a graduate of St. Andrew's Theological College and Seminary. He was ordained to the holy priesthood at the General Convention of the Orthodox Anglican Church in June of 2008.
Canon Gordon is married to Janet, they are raising three sons and have made Charlotte their home since 1991. The entire Gordon family has contributed greatly to establishing Orthodox Anglican parishes in the area. The family living room has been the birthplace of not merely one, but two OAC parishes. In the Fall of 2008 St Philip's was organized, over a year later St. Philip's is healthy and growing community of believers faithfully proclaiming Jesus Christ in the Queen City.
